The Minoan 'Bull leaping' fresco depicting an athlete leaping over a bulls back, Knossos-Palace, 1600-1400 BC . Heraklion Archaeological Museum.,grey background
there are 3 participants, two white skinned women and one brown skinned man. One female athele is restraining the bull ny the horns to slow it down as the male athlete performs a backward summersault ober the bulls back. The second female athlete waits to catch the leaper.
The fresco was found on the east side of the palace of Knossos together with fragments depicting different stages of bull leaping.
